Community and local impact
A Mexican house, run by people from here.
Casa Altamar does not belong to a foreign fund and is not managed from a distance. It was built by hands from La Paz and it is operated by a team from La Paz. Every peso of a stay is shared among suppliers, service providers and families from this city.

Local suppliers
Builders, carpenters, gardeners, housekeeping and maintenance: all from La Paz. We would rather use the workshop down the street than a catalogue from elsewhere.
Experiences with local guides
The Espíritu Santo trips, the fishing and the horseback rides are run by authorised providers from the city, with their own boats and their own families behind them.
Quarterly contribution
Each quarter we direct a share of the result to a civil organisation in La Paz. We deliberately change organisations and we do not publish names: help is not a campaign.
Twice-yearly neighbourhood support
Twice a year we take direct support to neighbourhoods in the city that need it, with the same discretion.
This way of working is not exclusive to this house: it is how Trip&homes and Operador Hospitality work across every property, hotel and project, with every partner, collaborator and service provider.
