Before you book
Booking, stay and cancellation policies.
What applies to every reservation made on this page, written in the same place where you pay.
Arrival and departure
Arrival from 3 PM and departure at 12 PM. If the calendar allows it, a late departure is arranged with us and confirmed the day before.
Minimum stay
Two nights.
Capacity
Up to twelve guests, counting anyone on a sofa bed or air mattress. The house keeps two queen air mattresses available, which guests inflate and place wherever they prefer. From the seventh guest onward, $737 MXN per person per night applies.
Security deposit
25% of the reservation total. Released at the end of the stay, once the house has been checked.
Discounts
15% off for a full week. Returning guests receive an additional 10% off the direct rate, here or at any other Trip&homes property.
Pets
Welcome with an additional cleaning fee of $3,500 MXN. That fee does not cover damage or special treatment — upholstery cleaning after stains, for instance — which is billed separately. Pets may not get on the beds or enter the pool.
Damage
Any item damaged or broken — sofas, cushions, loungers, chairs, tableware — is covered at full replacement value.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted inside the house. It is allowed on balconies, the terrace and open areas. If indoor smoking is detected, a charge of up to $5,000 MXN applies, the cost of cleaning everything that absorbs odour, furniture included. A cigarette burn on any piece of furniture is covered at its full value.
Events and celebrations
Hosted only with prior authorisation. They are requested in writing before the stay, remain subject to approval and are confirmed with an agreed maximum number of attendees. Without that authorisation the house is not used for parties or events: if neighbours report noise or conduct, the host may call the authorities and end the stay immediately, with no refund and with the corresponding penalty applied to the security deposit.
Elevated areas
The rooftop and terraces have elevated areas without railings. Their use is the guest's responsibility and is not recommended for small children unsupervised.
Cancellations
Within the first 48 hours after booking, the refund is 100% less the 4.5% cost of processing the payment. After those 48 hours and up to one month before arrival, the refund is 75%. From that month until two weeks before arrival, 50%. From those two weeks until one week before, 25%. During the final week before arrival the reservation is no longer refundable, as the calendar has been held for those dates.
Force majeure
This is a house run by people, not by a rulebook. If a cancellation happens for a genuine force-majeure reason and you can document it, write to us: we will look at your case gladly and on its own merits, and we can adjust beyond this scale where it is warranted. We are not looking to profit from something outside your control; we would rather the trip that did not happen become one that does.
Payment
The reservation is paid in full when it is confirmed. You can pay right here with Stripe, or ask us on WhatsApp for that same payment link or for bank transfer details to the authorised Trip&homes account. WhatsApp is an official channel of the house: before transferring, confirm you are writing to the number published on this page, +52 612 161 2800, and that the bank account is in the name of Trip&homes. Bank details are given only through that number.
